Full-Stack Engineer
NativeFoundation is building a new generation of AI-native products — starting with the Aether platform, including AetherGraph (job ↔ candidate matching) and a growing suite of intelligence, enrichment, and simulation systems.
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale these products from first principles. This is a hands-on role at the core of the company: you’ll ship real systems, shape technical decisions, and work closely with founders, product, and research.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be building foundations that will be used by enterprises, platforms, and partners — and you’ll be expected to think ahead of today’s tooling and patterns.

What You’ll Do
Horizon 1 · Core Aether Products

Your initial focus will be on building and evolving NativeFoundation’s own AI-native product stack, including:

AetherGraph – job and candidate matching using graph + vector intelligence

Data enrichment & intelligence pipelines
-
AI-driven workflows and decision systems
-
Product UIs, APIs, and internal tooling
-
You’ll help take these systems from early production through scale — owning features end-to-end and contributing to architectural decisions.
Horizon 2 · Applied Client Work (Selective)

Alongside core product development, you’ll occasionally rotate into selected client engagements where we apply the same technology and thinking in real-world environments:

AI-native product builds and rebuilds

Rapid MVPs and validation sprints
-
Modernisation of legacy SaaS around AI capabilities
-
This keeps our product work grounded in reality — and gives you exposure to multiple problem domains without becoming a consultancy.

Own front-end delivery
Build clean, thoughtful user interfaces (FlutterFlow today, with flexibility to influence future stack decisions). -
Build backend systems
Develop Python/FastAPI services, APIs, and data pipelines backed by Postgres and vector stores (e.g. Chroma). -
Work with AI systems
Integrate LLMs, orchestration layers, and AI-driven workflows into production systems. -
Level up DevOps
Containerise services with Docker, improve CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and contribute to infrastructure decisions (cloud, networking, IaC). -
Automate relentlessly
Deploy and integrate open-source platforms (CRM, CMS, monitoring, internal tools) and wire them into AI-assisted workflows. -
Stay ahead
Continuous learning is part of the job. You’ll be expected to experiment with emerging tools, models, and techniques — and bring those insights back into the product. -
Collaborate in person
Work from our Marylebone office three days a week; focus from home the other two.
Who You Are

Have 2–4 years’ experience shipping production software

Are comfortable building UIs in React

Can read and write Python well enough to ship APIs and fix bugs

Know your way around Docker and at least one CI system

Are excited by LLMs, open-source tooling, and rapid prototyping

Enjoy autonomy, fast iteration, and thinking in systems rather than tickets
